The wonderful new novel “Mnem”, written by Simon Stranger, contains a comic drawn by me. The story in the cartoon is about one of many fugitives that crosses the Sahara desert, and then travel by boat to Europe. The main character in this cartoon make it all the way to the city Nem, and is currently waiting to be granted asylum.
